Are you furry, fun and like to shake your tail feathers? Capital One is looking for Top High School Mascots and you are invited to become part of the action!

As a participant in the Capital One High School Mascot Challenge, not only will you be eligible to win great prizes including the Grand prize of $5,000 to donate to your school’s athletic department, you’ll have the opportunity to strut your stuff during special events open to the public and most importantly - prove once and for all that Mascots are the true school spirit leaders with the most heart…and the most fur, fins and feathers. Then comes the fun part – we let the public choose the top mascot for each city! Anyone can vote for their favorite mascot online. So, how do you participate?

Official mascots of High Schools located in participating counties in the following cities are eligible and encouraged to compete:

• Austin, Texas - Travis & Williamson counties
• Dallas/Ft. Worth - Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton & Kaufman counties
• Houston, Texas - Harris, Ft. Bend, Montgomery & Galveston counties
• Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Livingston, West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge & Ascension parishes
